A view of the sea is high on most buyers’ wish lists. At Adriatic Horizon Residence in Šušanj, Bar, 32 of the 49 apartments have a full or partial sea view.
The sea views face west and south-west – the direction of the sunset. This page explains which apartments have a view and how to choose the one that suits you.
Which apartments have a sea view
- Studios: 13 of 24 (28.9–43.6 m²) – see studio apartments
- One-bedroom: 12 of 18 (about 46 m²) – see one-bedroom apartments
- Two-bedroom: all 7 (about 66 m²) – see two-bedroom apartments
In total, 32 apartments have a full or partial sea view. Every apartment has its own terrace or balcony.
The two-bedroom apartments are corner units on floors 1 to 5, which is why all of them have a view of the sea.
What affects the view
Orientation is the main factor. Apartments facing west and south-west look towards the sea. Others face north (mountain view), east (morning sun) or south (sun).
Floor matters too. The building has a ground floor and five upper floors; higher floors generally see more over surrounding buildings. A “partial” sea view means the sea is visible from part of the apartment or terrace, not across the whole width.
The best way to judge is to compare the floor plans and the view noted for each unit in the live table below. If you are unsure, ask us – we can tell you what each specific apartment looks out on.
Sunsets over the Adriatic
Because the sea views face west and south-west, you watch the sun go down over the water from your terrace. Bar has about 270 sunny days a year, so there are many evenings to enjoy it.
If you prefer to be right by the water, Šušanj beach is 500 m away. Read our Šušanj beach guide.
Watching the sunset from your own terrace is one of the simple pleasures of living on this part of the coast, in spring and autumn as much as in summer.
No sea view? Other good orientations
Of the 49 apartments, 17 have no sea view – but they are not second-best by default. North-facing apartments look towards the mountains, east-facing units get the morning sun, and south-facing units enjoy sun for much of the day.
Whatever the orientation, you live 500 m from Šušanj beach, so the sea is never far away. Many buyers also choose by size, floor and budget first, and view second.
How to choose
- Decide what matters most: the size of the apartment, the view, or the light at a certain time of day
- Compare floors – a higher floor usually gives a wider view
- Remember that non-sea-view units have their own qualities: mountain views to the north, morning sun to the east
- Check the exact orientation on the floor plans
Sea-view apartments tend to be chosen first, so it pays to decide early. See the live table below or contact us for advice on specific units.
